Christian Villarreal drove in five runs on four hits to lead Ozona Varsity Lions past Christoval 15-4 on Tuesday. Villarreal doubled in the third scoring two, doubled in the fifth scoring two, singled in the second scoring one, and tripled in the fourth scoring one.

Christoval opened the scoring in the first after Packer drew a walk, scoring one run.

Ozona Varsity Lions took the lead in the bottom of the first inning after JP Garza singled to left field, and Jacoby Ramos doubled to left field, each scoring one run.

A double by Debusk gave Christoval the lead, 3-2, in the top of the second.

Ozona Varsity Lions took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Rilee Barrera doubled to left field, Villarreal singled to left field, Ramos grounded out, Michael Preddy singled to left field, and Hudson Fowler singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Ozona Varsity Lions added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Villarreal doubled, scoring two runs, and Villarreal scored after tagging up.

Villarreal earned the win for Ozona Varsity Lions. The righty surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking none. White took the loss for Christoval. The hurler went two-thirds of an inning, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out two and walking two. Garza started on the bump for Ozona Varsity Lions. The lefty allowed four hits and three runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Webber led things off on the mound for Christoval. The starter allowed seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Barrera appeared in relief for Ozona Varsity Lions.

Ozona Varsity Lions amassed 17 hits in the game. Garza, Preddy, Barrera, and Kaleb Ramon each collected multiple hits for Ozona Varsity Lions. Villarreal, Ramos, and Garza each stole multiple bases for Ozona Varsity Lions. Ozona Varsity Lions ran wild on the base paths, tallying 10 stolen bases for the game.

Debusk went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Leadoff hitter Webber led Christoval with two hits in three at bats.
