Ozona Varsity Lions scored 11 runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat Wink 15-8 on Monday.  Jacoby Ramos singled, scoring one run, Michael Preddy singled, scoring one run, Hudson Fowler drew a walk, scoring one run, Andon Glosson drew a walk, scoring one run, Bryan Serrano drew a walk, scoring one run, Christian Villarreal drew a walk, scoring one run, Michael Daniels drew a walk, scoring one run, JP Garza was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Ramos doubled, scoring two runs, and Kaleb Ramon grounded out, scoring one run.

Ozona Varsity Lions opened the scoring in the first after Ramos drew a walk, scoring one run.

Fowler earned the win for Ozona Varsity Lions. The righty allowed 10 hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking six. Cayton Noyola took the loss for Wink. The reliever went four innings, giving up three runs on five hits, striking out two and walking three. Cuellar started on the hill for Wink. The hurler gave up four hits and seven runs over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking six.
